You can find your adventure and spend three perfect days on the front porch of the Rockies right here in Greeley Colorado! All you need to do is decide how you want to play and then, plan accordingly.
Day One “Outdoor Enthusiasts Unite”
Catch the Colorado sun along the picturesque Poudre Trail as it follows the Cache la Poudre River on the north side of our city. Ride your bike, jog, or walk this 21-mile paved pathway and start your day with a burst of energy. After all that fresh air, enjoy wonderful pastries, delicious coffee, or brunch at a charming eatery in downtown Greeley or grab lunch and have a picnic in one of our wonderful parks, like Lincoln Park in the heart of downtown.
In the afternoon, head northeast of the city to the Pawnee Grasslands and Pawnee Buttes for some awesome sights, sounds and skies. During the day, birdwatch and hike. If you stay late enough, the night skies come alive with amazing views of the stars. Inspiration can be found everywhere in the hidden delights of everyday landscapes.
Looking for another adventure? We are a beautiful place to drop your bags and head up the Big Thompson Canyon to Rocky Mountain National Park, just an hour away. The drive up the canyon is gorgeous! Estes Park is a sweet mountain town with shops and restaurants and is the gateway to the national park! Spend the day hiking the trails and taking in the beautiful views! When you are ready to head back down, Greeley waits for you with open arms and a lively nightlife! Restaurants, breweries, distilleries, theaters, live music – just pick what you love and enjoy!
Day Two “Adventure on Tap”
Let’s spend the day “on tap” with a fabulous brew crawl and 8 award-winning breweries and 2 distilleries. Greeley is the perfect place for a sipping adventure that is sure to delight beer and spirit fans. We promise this scene will be memorable. “No good story ever happened over milk” is one of our favorite mottos. The wide range of breweries here are award winning and some of the best the region has to offer. They will provide you with some great times with friends and family. All but 3 are in the downtown district so you can wander from place to place while visiting the charming boutiques in the area.
